4 Column Custom Matt White Radiators - 1800mm High
All bespoke column radiators take approximately 4 weeks for manufacture except for during August and Christmas/New Year period when manufacturing times are slightly extended. The 1800mm 4 column sizes listed are the most popular with a large enough range of outputs to suit any room but if you require a custom size or need any help in choosing your traditional column radiator please contact us on 01204 695387 or sales@geyser.co.uk
Traditional cast iron and steel column radiators have been classic features of our heating systems for many years. They have numerous configurations available because of the vast number of colours, shapes and sizes available. They have tall radiators for mounting vertically as well as low level or horizontal versions. So, if space saving is what you're looking for or a large, high heat designer radiator there is plenty of choice within this range.
These old style designer radiators have stunning rounded shoulders and tubular columns. This provides the range with a modern day look compared to the traditional Victorian blade style shoulders. Thanks to this faint, smoothing of the design, the range provides a beautiful blend of old and new for almost any setting. No matter what period of styling you choose, this old style suits all interior design themes including Victorian, Retro, Classic, Contemporary, Modern and more.
This range is made at our manufacturers state of the art facility near Venice in Italy. Welded by high-tech robotic lasers, the finished steel then has a powder coat applied in the specialist painting facility. The old style range is made from mild steel and not cast iron. Mild steel heats faster than cast iron, is lighter and is a cheaper alternative to cast iron.
Although lighter than cast iron, steel column radiators still obtain a lot of weight when they are filled with water. especially if it is a particularly large model. Every designer radiator has standard wall mounting brackets included, which are very strong. However, if you know you have weak or plasterboard walls we strongly suggest you use some plaster board plugs. For sizeable models, specifically wide horizontal radiators you should consider ordering your radiator with welded feet for additional support.
All designer radiators in this range are supplied with an internal diverter which forces the water up and over inside the product. This aids water flow and ensures heat is distributed correctly. It is crucial that the diverter is installed to ensure optimum performance.
Please note that there is only a 24 hour period in which to cancel your order before the radiator goes into production, with this being a made to order item it is non-returnable and non-refundable.
