Chunky Radiators in White and Anthracite
Chunky radiators take the classic column radiator and give it deeper, rounded oval columns. The result is a radiator with real presence on the wall and a strong heat output for the space it takes up, which makes it a good fit for period homes and modern interiors alike. Every model in this range comes in two finishes: a clean white and a dark anthracite grey.
Sizes: Vertical and Horizontal
- Vertical chunky radiators are 1500mm or 1800mm tall and 300mm, 370mm, 440mm or 510mm wide. They suit narrow walls beside doors and windows, or a feature wall where you want height rather than width.
- Horizontal chunky radiators are 550mm tall and come in widths of 440mm, 580mm, 790mm, 1000mm, 1210mm and 1420mm, so most will sit comfortably under a window.
The largest vertical model, 1800mm x 510mm, gives out around 8,659 BTU, enough for many living rooms and open kitchens. Each product page lists the heat output in BTU and watts for that exact size.

Choosing the Right Size and Valves
Start with the heat your room needs: our BTU calculator works it out from the room size, walls and windows. Then check the space with our guide to measuring for a new radiator, remembering that the pipe centres are the width of the radiator plus the valves. If your pipes come up through the floor, angled valves are recommended; if they come out of the wall, choose corner valves.
