Polished chrome plate is a luxury designer finish but it does have insulating properties which mean that chrome plated heated towel rails have approximately 20% lower heat outputs than powder coated towel rails. This is a straight ladder heated towel rail which means the horizontal bars have a straight profile. We also have curved models available with a slight curve outward of the horizontal bars. The only noticeable difference between the two is the light reflection off the towel rail, which will be slightly different.
